Import from China to the UAE, with one accountable party in Dubai

We are a China sourcing agent with a local office in Dubai. We verify the factory, control quality before it leaves China, and intermediate your payment so leverage stays on your side.

The China to UAE corridor is short and well-served, which is exactly why importers underestimate it. Goods move fast from Shenzhen, Ningbo and Shanghai into Jebel Ali, but a fast lane does not protect you from an unverified supplier, an off-spec run, or 100% of an order wired to a factory you cannot reach afterwards. As your sourcing agent in Dubai and on the ground in China, we sit between you and the factory: one bilingual contract, supplier verification before quotation, quality control before shipment, and payment released only against agreed milestones.

Shipping from China to Jebel Ali

Most UAE orders move by sea into Jebel Ali (Dubai), with air freight reserved for samples and time-critical stock. Transit times are indicative; port handling and customs at both ends add several days. We arrange FCL, LCL, and DAP/DDP through vetted carrier partners.

Transit times are indicative and vary with carrier, season and customs.

Payments and contracts

You pay one party in AED, USD or EUR; we disburse to factories in RMB on agreed milestones, typically a deposit against a verified order and the balance only after pre-shipment QC passes. This is escrowed milestone payment intermediation, not lending: Makehe is a sourcing agent, not a bank. Where a transaction calls for it, we coordinate a Letter of Credit directly with your bank in the UAE, or connect you with suitable trade-finance options.

How our payments work →
Local point of contact in Dubai

Our Dubai office is your local point of contact across the same time zone, working hours and language as your business, while our China teams handle the factory floor, inspection and freight. You raise an enquiry locally; the sourcing, QC and shipping happen on the ground in China under one bilingual contract.

Common questions
Do I pay you in AED or do I have to wire China directly?

You pay Makehe, and you can settle in AED, USD or EUR. We disburse to the factory in RMB on agreed milestones. You never wire the full amount to an unknown account in China, which is where most UAE importers lose leverage.

How do goods clear into Jebel Ali and who handles UAE customs?

Most UAE orders ship by sea into Jebel Ali (Dubai). We arrange FCL, LCL or DAP/DDP through vetted partners and can coordinate clearance with a licensed UAE customs broker so duties and last-mile delivery are handled.

Can you support re-export from a UAE free zone?

Yes. We supply correct commercial documentation, certificates of origin and bilingual contracts so goods can be received, stored and re-exported through Dubai's free zones without paperwork gaps.
